Playing 60’s and 70’s Classic Rock, The Pewke Band have been around for a long time!
Formed in 1972, the band rapidly became the mainstay of the music scene in the Malvern area, setting up music venues and also supporting the major touring bands that regularly played at the Winter Gardens.
|
The band went through several changes in line-up but always retaining core members Paul White and Alan Hoida. The band eventually split up with Paul running his recording studio and editing audio recording magazines, and Alan joining the BBC as a film editor. (scroll down for more . . .)
|
Jump to 2005 and Paul and Alan reformed the band with new members, the line-up eventually evolving into what you hear today.
We continue to play in the West Midlands area. |
